We want you to know that your health and safety is our primary priority. We see patients during normal business hours as usual in our office location. Due to COVID 19 pandemic and in an effort to protect the health and safety of our patients we also offer telemedicine services to our patients. Our providers are currently able to continue to treat you using telemedicine services instead of face-to-face visits in the office for the duration of the pandemic at the discretion of your Primary Care Physician.
The use of telemedicine requires both the patient and the provider to be able to see and speak to each other utilizing a smartphone (either android or iPhone), iPad or laptop with a camera and a microphone.
Our staff will schedule your televisit at a specific time just like in-office visits. If you are scheduled for a telemedicine visit please simply go to your email and click the televisit software link ,in the body of the message 5-10 minutes before your scheduled televisit.

Office Policy
Policies at Stellar Medical Group make the care we provide more streamlined, efficient and patient-centric for you.
We have state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest medical technology and equipment. Our clinic is designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patients.
To accommodate all our patient's needs, we offer appointments days, weeks or months in advance as well as same day scheduling. If you have an urgent need please call us (623) 900-5181 and we will get you in as soon as possible.
Office visits are required every 1-4 months to monitor the conditions for which you are being treated.At the office visit, the provider will discuss appropriate monitoring intervals for your medications. Some medications are best monitored with laboratory testing in addition to an office visit. These include cholesterol lowering medication, blood pressure, diabetes medication, and thyroid supplements. Your doctor will advise you when to follow up. Please allow up to three business days for any requests not made during your office appointment. We do not refill medications outside of our business hours.
All narcotic medications will be discussed by appointment only and prescribed at your provider’s discretion. Controlled medications being refilled require an appointment every 1-3 months and will only be refilled at the discretion of Dr. Ammunje
As a courtesy to other patients needing appointments, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment time. Excessive abuse of the policy will be subject to a $25 fee for each no show and your insurance will be notified. Dr. Ammunje will discharge her patients after 3 no show appointments.
If you have an emergency, please call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. For less urgent medical concerns please call our answering service at (623) 900-5181 and the on call Provider will respond. Routine calls, such as medication refills or referrals will be handled during regular office hours.
f you need to see a specialist, your insurance company may require a referral. It is your responsibility as the patient to determine if your insurance requires a referral, to verify that the specialist is on your plan and to obtain a referral from our office before visiting the specialist. New referrals require an office visit for documentation of medical necessity. Referral requests require one to two weeks’ notice before your visit with the specialist.
Inappropriate Behavior: Inappropriate language (profanity, vulgarity), threats, behavior, and/or harassment (unwelcome contact, whether verbal, nonverbal, physical, or visual that is based on a person’s status such as sex, color, race, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, job status or personal characteristics) will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate dismissal from practice.
We do not prescribe new medications without first evaluating a patient. This includes pain medications, antibiotics, medications from other providers or clinics or any other medications that have not already been prescribed by the physician.
